Welcome to K2TENS
Since being formed in 1987, K2TENS has grown over the years within the community. Located at Moanalua High School, the facility is one of the best with 4 courts and lights for night play.

K2TENS offers a variety of programs for adults as well as juniors exploring to improve their overall tennis game.

Classes are taught by USPTA Pro Kyle Kaneshiro or by his assistant pros. All skill levels are welcome to join.
Tennis Programs Offered at K2
Adult Programs
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Emphasis is placed on development and correction of groundstrokes, volleys, serves, approach shots, overhead, and lobs. Ultimately the student will play a match against the instructor implementing the strokes learned.
Fun Night Doubles
This program encourages good sportsmanship and friendship, You will experience playing doubles: men's, women's and mixed. The format consists of two sets; no add scoring with a 12 point tie-breaker for the third set. Each team will consist of 6-8 players. This program runs for 7 weeks and is available for adults and juniors.
Group Lessons
A multiple week course in which the length and curriculum depends on the skill level of the student. Lessons will include stroke production, drilling, playing of points and strategy of the game.
Cardio Tennis
An exercise program with music. Consists of a series of drills designed to improve court coverage, quickness, balance, footwork, endurance, anticipation and hitting skills. The one hour sessions run for five weeks with a maximum of 10 students per class. Available for adults and juniors.
Hitting with a Pro
An hour long one-on-one hitting session with a assistant pro. During the hitting session the pro will feed balls, rally, and match play with you. Available for adults and juniors
Junior Programs

K2TENS Points Program
Points are awarded to a student for participating in USTA Team Tennis or Junior Tournaments, playing 100% of their Singles League matches, winning the Singles League, and participating in any K2TENS tournaments. Every six months they may redeem their points for various prizes, provided they are currently in the program.
Group Lessons
A multiple week course in which the length and curriculum depends on the skill level of the student. There are ten different skill levels (1.0 to 5.5) with four to eight students per class. Lessons will include stroke production, drilling, playing of points and strategy of the game.
Junior Davis Cup Program
Offered by INVITATION ONLY. Its focus is to prepare juniors to play competitively in leagues and tournaments. The program will consist of advanced drilling, physical fitness training, and developing of match strategy and mental toughness skills.
Singles League
Students who are participating in a group lesson will be required to play matches against their classmates. Players are responsible to schedule their match and the match must be played within each week of the group lesson. The player with the highest point total at the session will win the Singles League Trophy.
"Tennis Is Fun"
The focus is on having a great time playing tennis. The purpose of the clinic is to make it FUN for all the kids. We will be hitting tennis balls on four courts and each court will have their own personal coach. Activities will consist of hitting with the ball machine, a fast serve contest, volley/hitting games with targets, and match play.
